I'm planning a trip to Rio. How do I book?
You have two options. Book a video consultation on Google Meet and talk live with the specialist in your style, or do the whole curation on WhatsApp by sending your idea, references and travel dates. Either way, your design is defined and your slot is booked around your itinerary.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk in: we take walk-ins Monday to Saturday. To make sure the specialist in your style is available, send us a WhatsApp before you come.
Can I come without a design?
Yes. Tell us your idea, we match you with the right style and specialist, and the design is created with you. Prefer something ready? Pick a Rio flash.
How long does a flash tattoo take?
About 30 minutes on average, which makes a Rio flash perfect if you're only in town for a few days.
How much does a tattoo cost?
It depends on the style, size and placement. Send us your idea on WhatsApp and we'll give you the price before any commitment.
Do you speak English and Spanish?
Yes. The whole team is bilingual, from the first message to aftercare follow-up.
It's my first tattoo. Will it hurt?
It depends on the placement, but most people are surprised. Your specialist explains everything first, goes at your pace and you can ask for a break anytime.
What jewelry do you use for piercings?
Implant-grade titanium in every piercing: the same kind of material used in medical implants, nickel-free and recommended for sensitive skin.
How do you do piercings?
With a hollow needle, our standard: a clean cut with the jewelry going in at the same time, in one motion. Faster, more precise and more comfortable. We never use piercing guns.
I have allergies or sensitive skin. Can I get pierced?
Yes. Implant-grade titanium is the most recommended material for sensitive skin. Tell the piercer before the piercing and she'll check it with you.
Can I bring my own jewelry?
For a jewelry change, the piercer checks yours before putting it in. New piercings always get implant-grade titanium, for safety.
How do you handle hygiene?
Single-use needles and materials, sealed and opened in front of you, and sterilization in every session. Ask anything: we'll show you every step.
Can I go to the beach after getting tattooed?
Sun, sea and pools slow down healing. Your specialist explains aftercare in your language and helps you choose the best day within your trip.
How do I take care of my tattoo or piercing?
You leave with instructions in your language and get follow-up messages until it heals, even after you fly home.
Do you do touch-ups?
Yes. Touch-ups are free once the tattoo has healed.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, with a cover-up specialist. Send us a photo of your current tattoo on WhatsApp so we can assess it.
